November showed up early, that is my excuse....

Hello my friends.  Wow, it’s November already ~ how time flies on the SIDETRACK!  Goes without saying, it has been a long while since a real “Post”.  Maybe it was my baby going off to the dreaded army (mom heart draining), maybe it’s that I let life get in the way (I’m in my own way most of time), or maybe I’ve lost the blog bug
(if I truly ever had it).  BUT today I’m here again, hoping that you might be too!

Falling on my knees as we welcome November with thanksgiving and looking forward to the season of rejoicing to come!

First things first…

Update: Our youngest guy Garrison, is doing well way out in the Mojave Desert … recently promoted to Private 1st Class, so we are very proud parents!    Fort Irwin is a National Training Center where he was assigned to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment - Blackhorse Troopers, who are stationed at the base to provide an opposing force to units on training rotation before possible deployment.  Meaning those stationed there aren’t likely to be deployed ~ much to my guy’s disappointment, but comfort to this Mom’s selfish heart.  For now ANYWAY, truly answered prayers!  Thank you so much for yours!!!

He’ll be home on leave for Christmas…man I have missed him, even if he did cause a 3rd or so of this platinum hair!!

             Isn't he andsome  ;) ?!

 Counting the days!

Speaking of counting the days and secondly,

I’m hoping you all are up for an annual GraceReclaimed Christmas Trunk Show.

Because one way or another, if I can get around myself…it will happen!

It’s beginning to look a lot like a Blue and White Christmas at the old Charlton Place,
so stay tuned!!

In God’s gracious care and feeling so very blessed, B

2018 focus scripture...

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Have I not commanded you?  Be strong and courageous.  Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart.

Lamentations 2:19
"Rise during the night and cry out. Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord.
Lift up your hands to him in prayer, pleading for your children."
