Stacy&Josh, 1000 Years, & Cookies

This past weekend, I had the opportunity honor to work on the wedding of my beautyfull niece and her handsome groom, Stacy and Josh Lane.

I can’t tell you how stunning the bride was or how perfect the day turned out; you just had to be there.   And as usual, I didn’t take pictures, but praying that I’ll be able to share some of the shots once the photographers allow.  In the meantime,  here are a couple of special pictures and one little favor I managed to pull off for my new nephew by marriage!

Aunt B’s Gracefull Cookies

 2¾ cup flour, 1 t baking soda, 1 t salt  (Combine & Set aside)
2 sticks butter (1 salted, 1 unsalted)
2 large eggs
¾ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup packed light brown sugar
1 t Mexican Vanilla, plus a little more~~
6 oz or half a bag of Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels
6 oz or half a bag of Nestle White Chocolate Morsels
2 ½ cups flake coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
Beat softened butter & both sugars, add vanilla, mix until creamy; then add eggs 1 at a time & mix well after each addition.  Gradually stir in flour mixture;  add morsels, coconut & pecans. Stir Well!
Drop by rounded teaspoon or small scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet
(I use a baking/pizza stone).

Bake for 13-15 minutes  or until golden brown, cool on baking rack, enjoy!!!!!!

Lord, let me live my life so that others may come to know you, simply by knowing me.

A true desire yet something I still fail at more than I’d like to admit!

But because of God’s grace, I will move faithfully forward and keep working toward being the person He calls me to be!

Much love and joy filled my heart this weekend, b
