And so it was Christmas....

 Yes it was.
A different kind of Christmas for sure.
So much has changed, so much missing, Mom and of course Pop, their home, his wisdom, her light, the time together as a family, his prayer, her food, the love!
And yet there was a reassuring calm and peacefulness throughout December!
Because the most important thing about Christmas
never changes...

The angels told it, the shepherds heard it, the wisemen knew it...
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Luke 2:11-14(KJV)

Life changed for our family this year and so did focus.  As much as I wanted to share my home and love for Christmas by hosting my annual GraceReclaimed Trunk Show...
it just wasn't in my Christmas Cards!

Happy to say "Cheers" to the past year full of challenges and cheerless moments,
And gracefully saying "CHEERS" to 2017, full of His promise and constant love!

A friend suggested an Old Charlton House Christmas Tour
~ here it is if you have the time and the desire to come along~
I tried diligently to put it in video format for you,
but I'm obviously video challenged:)

So grab some coffee or a glass of wine and
put your feet up if you wish to take a look.
This might take a while:)
And if not, let me just speak this,
May Christmas peace be with you and yours throughout the new year
and forevermore!
